Explanation:

Korean reunification (Korean: 통일, 統一) refers to the potential reunification of North Korea and South Korea into a single Korean sovereign state. The process towards reunification was started by the June 15th North–South Joint Declaration in June 2000, and was reaffirmed by the Panmunjom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity and Unification of the Korean Peninsula in April 2018, and the joint statement of the United States President Donald Trump and North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un at the Singapore Summit in June 2018. In the Panmunjom Declaration, the two countries agreed to work towards a peaceful reunification of Korea in the future.

I think this is the answer...

Following the conclusion of the Korean War in 1953, South Korea and North Korea took radically different routes. They could hardly be different with respect to their economies and living standards.

Explanation:

Economy

  • The 2 Koreas are divided into the demilitarised zone, which is a 4 kilometer wide strip that passes along the "38th parallel", dividing across the Korean Peninsula. South Korea is one of the most prosperous economies on the south side of the DMZ, whereas in the north its neighbour is a "military dictatorship" which keeps a close eye on the economy &  has always struggled to provide its citizens with enough food.
  • North Korea is one of the most isolated nations globally and was long ruled by Kim dynasties. The "military dictatorship" of Kim Jong-un retains strong economic influence, covering almost all development and distribution aspects. The Kim family has long given priority to their own political survival — and, ultimately, their ability to create nuclear weapons — through the economic growth of the country. As North Korea is so isolated — partially by "international sanctions" against its nuclear program — and the little data released by the govt is not deemed credible, much is unknown of its yearly economic success, that is projected at approximately 20 billion dollars per year.
  • The so-called "Miracle in the Han Riverbank" has been South Korea's economic turnaround since the Korean War. South Korea, once wrapped up by political instability and hardship, has joined the global leading economic "dollar club" and is part of the Party of 20. South Korea currently has the 12th biggest gross domestic product market in the world, with some of the most popular brands worldwide, comprising Samsung Electronics & Hyundai Motors.   It is the biggest "semiconductor & memory chip exporter" in the world & one of the top exporters of automobiles
  • Except for a short time in the 1960. North Korea was not necessarily able to fulfill its citizens' requirements when its economy was briefly overshadowed that of its southern neighbor. In the 1990s, North Korea's economic crisis was catastrophic and almost a third deteriorated, with the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people thought to have achieved famine. Things have changed, but there are still common problems with privation. In 2017, over half the population of North Korea lacked access to electricity, as per the World Bank, whereas more than a 3rd of Pyongyang power supplies were newly constructed
  • South Korea, a stable democracy, continues to playimportant role in implementing the industrial strategy. Economic prosperity still plays an important role. The nation is heavily dependent on exports, contributing some 40 % of GDP. Therefore, any global recession normally hits the country very hard. South Korean "policymakers"have emphasized in recent years that alternative growth strategies need to be established, including by improving domestic demand, but little has been done so far. South Korea's growth has slowed and will slow down further — a most advanced economy experience. The nation also faces socio-economic challenges such as youth unemployment and hardship for the elderly.

Human Rights

  • The human rights record in North Korea is widely seen as the worst in the world and has been condemned internationally. North Korea's human rights are very restricted. Regardless of the fact that a number of the rights are entitled to freedom of expression, human rights organizations such as "Amnesty International" &nations"like the United States have argued there is no "right to free expression"in practice, and those run by the govt are the only media outlets that are considered legitimate. The govt of North Korea strictly controls international visitors' activities. Helping employees are subject to significant scrutiny and are often removed from areas and regions where they are not needed by the govt.
  • The South Korean Constitution ,which fulfills the civil rights of its citizens, codifies human rights in South Korea. These rights are legally secured and require "amendments & national referenda" Such rights have grown considerably from the days of "military dictatorship"to the new state, with "free & equal presidential" & national parliamentary elections as a modern democracy. Human rights in both Korea have legal safeguards under the Constitution, but in North Korea, the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" the practice and enforcement of those rights are minimal.

Culture

  • In a very authoritarian country, the North Koreans live. The system may cause you deep trouble by asking questions. Individuals must recognize and strive not to challenge authority. As a result , people will potentially have less influence over their lives.  In a democratic parliamentary Republic, people reside in South Korea. Without fear, people will protest and lobby. They expect to be heard and to hear your views. They have more power over their lives and their world.
