An 8-year old male child is brought by the mother to the hospital
with chief complaints of puffiness of face, more noticeable in
the morning, swelling of both legs, and smoky urine. Further
questioning reveals that patient was recently treated for throat
infection. On examination, the blood pressure is 150/110
mmHg, pulse rate 90/min, respiration rate 22/min. pallor+, pedal
oedema+. There is no cyanosis, lymphadenopathy or icterus.
Systemic examination did not show any abnormality in respiratory
system, abdomen, CVS and CNS.
