When I see clouds, I’m reminded of this poem:
I am the daughter of Earth and Water,
And the nursling of the Sky;
I pass through the pores of the ocean and shores;
I change, but I cannot die.
For after the rain when with never a stain
The pavilion of Heaven is bare,
And the winds and sunbeams with their convex gleams
Build up the blue dome of air,
I silently laugh at my own cenotaph,
And out of the caverns of rain,
Like a child from the womb, like a ghost from the tomb,
I arise and unbuild it again
Fifteenth of January last year is the day I can never forget. It was a very cold day, the coldest of the season. I was required to attend and interview for and admissions to and important course. As I was on my way on my bike, dark clouds suddenly appeared in the sky. It became so dark that visibility became very poor. I had to switch on my bike light to wade through the stormy wind that accompanied the clouds. Since winters are less rainy than summer, I thought it would remain dry and the cloud would soon pass. But thunder and lightning continued to threaten me. Soon it started raining. The rain soon changed into a hailstorm. I had to take shelter under a balcony to save myself and my bran new suiting. As soon as it stopped raining. I rushed to the venue of the interview. I was shocked to find that the interview was already over. I missed a great opportunity. I can never forget this day.
