when the line will intersect y-axis it's absicca will be zero
2(0)-7y=14
y=-2
so the coordinates of the required point is(0,-2)

Concept: At y axis, for all the poinys the x-coordinate will be 0 {(0,1)(0,5)(0,8) all the points are on y axis} similarly, At x axis, for all the points the y-coordinate will be 0

So here, if the line intersects y axis then, the point at which it intersects that must have, x co-ordinate as 0, so

2x-7y=14
,or. 2*0-7y=14
,or. y=-2,

So the intersection point is (0,-2)
