Coastal areas are more humid in comparison to the plains .why?

Coastal areas are more humid than plains , this is because of the sea breeze and the land breeze as the sea breeze flows towards the land and the coastal areas are near the sea.Also , the sea breeze is hotter than compared to land breeze.
