Coconut oil and water are im-miscible substances, which means they do not mix with each other. So, they can be seperated by seperating funnel.

By using a separating funnel where you pour the combination of the liquid in it and then you would observe that the water is below the oil.
Then start to open the tap below the funnel and let the water drop until only oil is left. You will have your water and coconut oil separated.
