Coffee is generally acidic in nature but it cannot be told up to which extent. The general pH level of coffee is 5 but it ranges from bean to bean.

Several factors that are responsible for determining the acidic nature of coffee are:

● the soil in which the coffee is grown and also the altitude at which the coffee is grown determines the acidic nature of the coffee plant or coffee beverage.

● the time for which The Coffee Bean is roasted in order to produce the coffee powder is also a determining factor for deciding the acidic nature of the coffee

● also the way in which we prepare a coffee beverage is also determining factor for the acidity of the coffee.
