no. \: of \: persons \: can \: be \: served =  \frac{volume \: of \: vessel}{volume \: of \: 1glass \: }
vol of vessel= πR²H

vol of glass= πr²h
where
r=2.5cm
h=10.5cm
R=15cm
H=70cm
no of person served = π(15)²70/π(2.5)²10.5
on solving =>24000 person

240 persons can be served

Step-by-step explanation:

1 m = 100 cm

Diameter of cylindrical tank = 0.3 m = 30 cm

Radius of cylindrical tank =\frac{30}{2}= 15 cm

Height of cylindrical tank = 0.7 m = 70 cm

Volume of cylindrical tank =\pi r^2 h = \frac{22}{7} \times 15^2 \times 70=49500 cm^3

Radius of cylindrical glass =2.5 cm

Height of cylindrical glass =10.5 cm

Volume of cylindrical glass =\pi r^2 h = \frac{22}{7} \times 2.5^2 \times 10.5=206.25 cm^3

No. of persons can be served = \frac{49500}{206.25}=240

Hence 240 persons can be served
