Observation on Monocot plant:

Monocotyledons have a single cotyledon in the seed and are of the Class of Angiosperm. The leaves of monocotyledons have parallel veins. The flower parts of monocotyledon plants are in the multiple of 3(three). They have fibrous roots and have primary vascular bundles that are dispersed throughout the stem, which are not arranged in a ring.

Observation on Dicot plant:

The seeds of these angiosperm have 2 cotyledons and their leaves have network veins that originate from a central main vein. The flower part are in multiples of 4 or 5. The stem has a ring of vascular cambium.

Monocot plant: Lily

(1) its roots are fibrous.

(2) its stem is Hollow.

(3) its leaves show parallel venation.

(4) flowers with three parts or in multiples of 3 (trimerous).

Dicot Plant: Hibiscus

(1) its seed can be divided into two equal halves.

(2) it has well developed roots. there is a primary root (tap root) and many secondary roots arise from the primary roots.

(3) it's stem is strong and hard.

(4) it's leaves show reticulate venation.

(5) it's flowers has four to five petals (pentamerous).
