the brain of vertebrate has evolved all over the years. the cranial cavity increased in size from 600cc to 1200cc creating a better distribution of nerves and better development of the lobes of brain. initially the brain was not as much developed as now but slowly over the years it has developed. and even it's developing today!

Vertebrates is a group of animals in which includes bird , fish , amphibians , reptiles and mammels . A vertebrates is an animal with spinal chord surrounded by certilage { it is flexible tissue found in many parts of the body } or bone.

The vertebrates brain begans as 3 bulges at the anterior end of the spinal cord.

These are present in all the vertebrates .these are :

1. Prosecephalon ( forbrain)

2. Mesencephalon ( midbrain)

3. Rhombencephalon ( hindbrain)

In more complex brain, they further subdivided for integration of complex tasks .
