Geyser is a spring characterized by intermittent discharge of water ejected turbulently and accompanied by steam.Geysers are used for various activities such as electricity generation,heating & tourism.The hot water directed from geyser has been use to heat green houses and to grow food that otherwise couldn't have been cultivated in Iceland's inhospitable climate.Steam & hot waters from the geyser are also used for heating homes since 1943 in Iceland.
