There are many different fuels available for use and it is not possible to mention the information of all of them. Here is the information regarding a few important fuels that are used almost every day by humans. Note that the prices keep changing frequently and also according to states and country.
1. LPG - Net calorific value is 10800 Kcal/kg. Cost per liter is Rs. 43/-.
2. CNG - Net calorific value is 8000 - 9480 Kcal/kg. Cost per kg is Rs.52/-.
3. Petrol - Net calorific value is 45.8 MegaJoules/kg. The cost per liter is Rs. 73.29/-
4. Diesel - Net calorific value is 45.5 Megajoules/kg. The cost per liter is Rs. 62.10/-.
5. Kerosene - Net calorific value is 10300 Kcal/kg. The cost is Rs. 22.12/- per liter.
