Answer:

Prithviraj III- Prithviraj III, also called Prithviraj Chauhan, (born c. 1166—died 1192), Rajput warrior king of the Chauhan (Chahamana) clan of rulers who established the strongest kingdom in Rajasthan. Prithviraja’s defeat in 1192 in the second battle of Taraori (Tarain) at the hands of the Muslim leader Muʿizz al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Sām (Muḥammad Ghūrī) marked a watershed in medieval history of India.

Rajaraja I - Rajaraja I came to the throne in 985 . He defeated the Pandyas , the Chalukyas and the Cheras for territorial gains. He had a powerful navy which he used to conquer parts of northern Sri Lanka and gain control over the Maldives. He built the Beautiful Brihadeeswara or the Raja Rajeswara temple in Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu in 1010.

Rajendra Chola-Rajendra Chola was the son and successor of Rajaraja I , who came to the throne after death of his father . He further consolidated and expanded the Chola Empire by completing the conquest of Sri Lanka that had been started by his father. He defeated Mahipala, the ruler of Bengal after crossing the river Ganga. After this victory, he assumed the title of Gangaikonda, which meant the Conqueror of the Ganga. Rajendra Chola also laid the foundations of a new capital city, Gangaikondacholapuram , near Thanjavur.

Using his naval strength, Rajendra Chola expanded his empire in South - east Asia . The kingdom of Srivijiya , i.e. Malaya, Sumatra and Java did not allow Chola ships and their merchant to sail through the Malacca Straits to China and the Malaya peninsula. Rajendra Chola was able to defeat the ruler of the Srivijiya Empire and restore the trading relations of the Chola Empire with south-east Asia and China .
