After collecting fallen leaves from a tree,if we examine those leaves under the microscope,we will see that ;

1)the leaf is damaged naturally by pests and other insects

2)the leaf is damaged by artificial toxic substances

These examination determines the reason of damage in that leave.For this damage the leave fell down.
