Explanation:
A comparative study was taken in order to evaluate the difference of prices of grains sold in market and shops as compared to fair price shops. The study showed that various types of grains had their own prices but per kg of price varied from 5 rupee to 10 rupees. This was because of the fact that fair price shops are government subsidized while the local markets had to bear their rents and other costs. However to facilitate people more, government need to give more importance to the addition of fair price shops in different areas or to give some subsidy to local shopkeepers
