1. Potato is also called tuber. It has underground and stores starch .
2. In cactus , the swollen leaf like structure is actually stem of plant which stored food as well as water.

Root:-

1. Sweet potato is also an underground part that help in storing food.
2. Turnip is also swollen root that stores food.

Leaves:-

1. In cactus , the leaves are modified into spines to protect plant from animals.
2. In pitcher plant, the leaves are modified in pitcher shape structure that help in capturing insect.

Bacteria is a prokaryotic organism which has simple structure.But due to lack of advanced essential organelles it has to perform its function in very different way.

Explanation:

Bacteria has a simple structure in which it has cytoplasm, false nucleus, ribosomes (70S) , RNA , vacuoles etc. It lacks the specialized organelles.

                           So , to perform various function like nutrition , it has to extend its membrane also called pseudopodia, around the food, which later on fuses and thus engulfing the food. This is called holozoic nutrition.

Similarly, to remove the waste from body, it collects it firstly in vacuole which later on moves near periphery and fuses with membrane , the membrane breaks and throw the waste out of the cell.

Thus, these functions are complex due to lack of specialized parts.
