There are many different varieties of tea leaves in the world. Tea is an evergreen shrub which grows in East Asia. Tea is said to have had its origin in China as a medicinal drink. It was later on accepted as a recreational drink and became popular in Britain during the 17th century. China and India are the World’s largest producer of tea leaves.
