inheritance of a character from male parent to the male young ones of the second generation through the females (carrier) of the first generation is called Crisscross inheritance. colour blindness is also one of the criss-cross inherited diseases it means that a man with colour blindness marries a woman with the normal vision all the sons and daughters are with normal vision but the daughters are considered as carriers if she marries the man with normal vision the colour blindness will be inherited to their sons. hence we come to know that if a person had colour blindness it will be inherited to his grandson through his daughter but the daughter is not affected by the disease
