East flowing rivers:-
1)these originate from the western ghats and flow eastwards

3)these rivers form deltas at their mouths
4)they carry large amount of water
5)ex:mahanadi, godavari
West flowing rivers:-
1)these rivers originate in central India and flow westwards
2)these flow into the arabian sea

Answer:

The Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna and Kaveri are east flowing rivers.

The rivers flowing westward on the peninsular plateau are generally small but rivers Narmada and Tapi are exceptions to this.

These rivers do not form deltas.

The Narmada and Tapi are west flowing rivers.
