percentage of silicon = 0.2divide 21.5x100
= 0.9%
percentage of carbon =21.3divide 21.5x 100
= 99%

mole ratio of carbon = 99 divide 12
= 8.25

simplest ratio of silicon= 0.03divide 0.03= 1
simplest ratio of carbon = 8.25 divide 0.03=275
