In English, the infinitive usually consists of the word to followed by the verb. 


1. Bani went shopping with her mother.She wanted a pair of shoes.
Bani went shopping with her mother to buy a pair of shoes.

2. This is a difficult problem.Only a clever person can solve it.
This is a difficult problem to solve it.

3. I can swim. I learnt it when I was very young.
I learnt to swim when I was very young.

2.This problem is difficult enough for a clever person to solve./ This problem is so difficult that only a clever person can solve it./ this problem is difficult enough for a clever person to solve.
