They both can help in polinate as when butterfly uses nector from flower they take the male gametes and transfer it to the another flower stigma.

Some birds like humming can also do the same

Both butterflies and birds are useful agent for pollination. When they come in contact with stamens,pollen grains stick on their body. When they come in contact with another flower, they discharge the grains on the stigma of that plant. Hence, pollination occurs
