Harris thinks that he can sing a comic song. However, he can't sing any song. When he is at a party and is asked to sing, he replies that he can only sing a comic song. The hostess asks him to sing that. He gets up and sings. He says that it is the Judge's Song and they must all join in the chorus. Harris commences signing, dashes oof the first two lines of the First Lord's Song out of 'Pinafore.'The pianist tries to follow Harris but feels his mind giving away and stops. Harris calls it all right. The pianist asks what song he is singing. Harris replies it is the Judge's Song out of Trial of Jury. On this, one of his friend tells him that it is actually the Admirals song from Pinafore. This irritates Harris and they enter into an argument. After a long argument Harris resumes singing, making an as*s of himself. However, he doesn't realize this and promises to sing another song after supper. Harris's songs did not provide any entertainment to J. and George as he couldn't sing properly.
