It is generally between 11-14 years of age  in boys and in girls it is between 10-13 and is also known as puberty.it causes growth of hair on face under the armpits and in the pubic region of boys and causes growth of hair under the armpits and the pubic region in girls .it causes the maturition of testis and ovary to produce sperm and egg respectively.It also causes the release of testosterone in males and progesterone and estrogen in females.
