Most popular struggles for democracy had their specific thing they wanted to get. In order to get their desires, the struggle began where most people formed rebel groups.

These popular struggles include the following;

1. Movement for democracy in Nepal

The movement for democracy in Nepal had an agenda of restoration of democracy in Nepal. People fought in order to gain control of the government  from the king.

2. Bolivia's water war against privatization of water

This resulted where the World Bank forced the government to let go control of the municipality water.
