In the poem ' Bangle Sellers' the changes in the life of a woman are described as mainder or unmarried girl, a bride, a mother and a faithful wife. They had suggested several colours of bangles which represents the various stages of a woman's life including blue, silver, pink, red which shows the desires and blooming beauty of her, reddish yellow shows the happiness and a little sad mood of her, when she was getting married and finally the purple and gold coloured bangles which shows that now she has become a perfect wife, a perfect mother and a perfect daughter in law.
