Comment about the role of Chorus written by Aristophanes in Poem “The birds”:

The chorus of the birds in the poem 'The birds' written by Aristophanes speaks highly about the birds. The birds compare themselves to humans and say how great they are when compared to humans. The birds then explain about the crimes committed by humans like caging and sacrificing a bird.

The chorus of the poem also explains the dangers of pride and jealousy in humans. The author does not necessarily speak about the greatness of birds. Instead, he describes the dangers faced by humans because of pride in them.
