    The play ‘The Trial of Dedan Kimathi’ is a play that is written based on a hero Kimathi, from Kenya. He was actually a terrorist but the Kenyans and the whites considered him as an enemy. Even though the colonial masters saw him was a terrorist, the people in Kenya liked him a lot. They considered him as the voice, a freedom fighter and also as their savior.

    He was arrested in 1956 and was executed in 1957. He was then buried in a mass grave. Many buildings have been built up with the name of Dedan Kimathi, in order to show respect to the person.
