If humidity is high, then air is already saturated with water vapours, i.e., it has a lot of water vapours. Therefore, it will not take more water vapours easily. Hence, rate of evaporation decreases.

Here is ur answer -----

When there is a high humidity , the amount of water molecules are high in the atmosphere.This means that there is less capacity to hold more water particles . The vapour takes more time to evaporate because of the presence of more vapour in the air, so the rate of evaporation decreases.
