1. Rajya Sabha is a permanent House while Lok Sabha is not a permanent body as it is constituted for 5 years tenure.

2. The total membership of Rajyasabha is 250 while t
he maximum strength of the Lok Sabha can be 552 members though currently elections are conducted only for 445 seats.

3. 
 The members of the Rajya Sabha are elected on the basis of proportional representation while Lok Sabha is directly elected on universal franchise.

4. Money bills cannot be introduced in Rajya Sabha as it is introduced only in Lok Sabha.

5. The proceedings regarding removal of Vice-President begin only in Rajya Sabha and not in Lok Sabha.


Note: It must be kept in mind that Rajya Sabha is not subject to dissolution while Lok Sabha has tenure and is subjected to dissolution.
