Comparison between the intensive reading and extensive reading are as follows -
- The very first and the most important difference between the intensive reading an extensive reading is that, in the intensive reading, a small amount of text is covered whereas in the extensive reading, a large amount of text is covered.
- The another difference is, the reader has to be more careful and attentive while doing intensive reading, as compared to the extensive reading. Because, in the intensive reading, the reader has to gather the maximum possible data from the minimum reading content. Whereas, no such extra care is needed for extensive reading due to the enough availability of the reading content.
