.nomads are a type of people who does not have a permanent settlement and keep moving from one place to the other whereas the sedentary people are having a fixed settlement unlike nomads they stay at a fixed place

They travel to different areas during seasonal changes in search for pasture land for their livestock (herds). They have no permanent home. Nomadic people eat through gathering fruits and vegetables, hunting and raising livestock.
A sedentary lifestyle is related to people who cultivate or farm in one land with a permanent home without moving to different areas. They need an irrigation system and canals for farming along with walls for protection. Agriculture and domestication of animals are the main characteristics of sedentary lifestyles.
