Subbu was considered number 2 at the Gemini Studios. He was ever cheerful and loyal to the Boss. He was a very talented actor and writer. He was tailor-made for film making. He had a whole range of ideas for shooting scenes. Whenever a producer was in a fix, Subbu offered countless solutions.

On the other hand office boy was a frustrated man in his forties. He had joined film industry with the hope of becoming a top star, writer, lyricist or director but all his dreams remained mere dreams. He held Subbu responsible for his failures.
