ELECTION OF USA's PRESIDENT : Election of the president indirectly elected by people through an electoral college. Art 2 sec 1 deals with election of the president.The candidate who receives an absolute majority of electoral votes (currently 270) for the office of president or is elected to that office. The Twelfth Amendment provides for what happens if the Electoral College fails to elect a president . If no candidate receives a majority for president, then the House of Representatives will select the president from first three candidates, with each state delegation (instead of each representative) having only one vote.

INDIAN PARLIAMENT: Indian Parliament consist two chamber i.e. The House Of The People(LOK SABHA) and Council Of States (RAJYA SABHA). House is a lower chamber while Council Of States is an upper chamber.

THE HOUSE OF THE PEOPLE
It is lower house. It consist of not more than 550 members. Of these , not more than 530 from States and 20 from Union Territory. And President Of India has the power to nominate 2 members of Anglo-Indian Community, if in his opinion that community is not adequately represented in house.
Currenty there are 543 elected and 2 nominated members.
