Comparison between the Amazon basin and Ganga Brahmaputra basin.

The Ganga Brahmaputra region has deciduous vegetation whose leaves are shed during the summer time but in case of Amazon the forest is always green and due to excessive rainfall and lack of Sunlight penetration due to  dense forest.
  • Climate:   The climate in Amazon region is basically hot and wet with no particular difference in temperatures in winter or summer seasons while Ganga Brahmaputra region Is located near the foothills of Himalayas hence it sees about a good difference in temperature with different temperatures in winters and summers.
