My mother as busy arguing with the shopkeeper to lessen the price of dress. Meanwhile I sat on a chair nearby, because I knew that the discussion will going to last a bit longer. While sitting there I started observing the hustle and bustle around me.The vendors were selling their stuff earnestly. But there something very strange caught my attention. I saw a beggar was sitting on a foot path, wearing a tattered gown,his shoes were worn out, and he was holding an old, crooked bowl in which he was collecting money. He was begging for food and money. People were not paying any attention to him. Some dropped money in his bowl, and others moved on . There was a man who parked his Mercedes and stepped out of it. His shoes were shining like a starts at night. He was wearing a very expensive suit. People looked him in awe. As this place is the spot for mostly middle class people, so they couldn't resist this sight. The man went to one of the fruits vendors and bought huge amount of fruit. Maybe he was purchasing for his family. While he was carrying the bags of fruits the beggar begged him for some food but the rich man didn't pay heed to him. This sight provoked me to think over the fact that there is a lot of difference between rich and poor. They not only differ in appearances but they also diifer in the social circle, the conduct of people and self esteem.
