Answer:
Bangladesh is a different story. It hadwar in 1971 after which the nation had to be rebuilt from extreme poverty and destroyed infrastructure. So older generation didn’t get to get education like other countries in South Asia.If you look at millennial education age16–25, 80% of male and 85% of femalesare educated. That’s still not as high as Sri Lanka but it is very good for a young nation. It also shows how much betterBangladesh is in gender equality. More females get education than men. Even when you count every generation, it’s 64% male to 61% Female. Women live longer and has a strong workforce. In this aspect,Bangladesh is better than every otherSouth Asian country.Next countries, I am just going to Speculatve.
India: I think it’s because India is a very large country with large population and government focus is not equally divided between every state. Few states are prioritized and others get neglected as if they don’t even exist. It also could be because each state has different approach on how they handle education.
Pakistan spends more on their military per capita than all other countries in SA, probably that’s why as that would mean education sector doesn’t get as much funding.
Nepal is the poorest in the region and landlocked country so they can’t even grow their economy as Other countries can. It only has GDP growth of 3.5% whileBangladesh has 7.11%, India well over that, others at least above 5%. Nepal just doesn’t have the money
