LPG has a more calorific value of about 55,000 KJ/ kg as compared to the wood. Wood has a less calorific value of about 17,000 to 22,000 KJ/kg as compared to the LPG.

It doesn't affect environmental conditions and human beings It is harmful to the environment and can cause fatal diseases like asthma.

It doesn't produce smoke. It produces smoke in a large amount.

It is easy to store LPG in the form of liquid by applying high pressure. It is not easy to store it as wood needs a lot of space and can spoil at a faster rate when it comes in contact with moisture.

Due to easy storage, it can be easily transported from one place to another. It cannot be transported easily as it will have large vehicles as compared to the LPG fuel.

LPG has a low value of ignition temperature. Wood has a high value of ignition temperature.
