Since phenol donate H+ ion easily than alcohols, phenols are more acidic than alcohols. the negative charge is more stabilized after a proton loss on the phenol than the alcohol because the aromatic ring delocalizing the negative charge. ... Due to this resonance effect phenoxide ion is less basic than alkoxide ion.

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER....

However both alcohols and phenol are weak acids the alcohol is less acidic than phenol because it is tough to remove the h + ions from alcohol

Phenols can we lose iron easily because phenoxide Ion formed is established due to some extent this is a negative charge on Oxygen atom...
