Manure is not nutrient- specific and is required in large quantities. Manure is rich in humus. Fertiliser does not provide any muscus to the soil.
Manure is not readily soluble in water and is slowly absorbed by plants. Fertiliser is soluble in water and readily absorbed by plants.
