The variations in Dokur village was represented by the innovative advancements in cropping pattern which is an inspirational model for producers of other states.

Growth in associated activities such as food processing performed it one of the most flourishing settlements in Krishna delta. Dokur improved its cropping pattern to drought-resistant crops which can begin with more limited water. It moved from the traditional food grains which include variation in crops.

On the other hand, there were random and extreme variations in crop pattern and extension in agriculture-allied areas and food product, developments observed in the agrarian community on various fronts, agriculture, agricultural economy, modes of possession of the land, maintenance benefits and diversification of crops on the deltaic ground.
