Characteristics of androecium and gynoecium in two different flowers:

Androecium is the 'male stamens' of the flower. Gynoecium is the 'female pistil' of the flowers. Both these parts are present in some flowers while some flowers have only one part.

The gynoecium is located in the 'innermost whorl' of the pistils and is surrounded by the stamens. Stamens are pollen-producing parts of a flower. The insects can reach androecium whereas The insects cannot reach gynoecium.

Flowers that have only the androecium are called staminate and flowers that have only the gynoecium are called pistillate.
