Compare the features of a Chaitya with that of a temple. Do you think the mode of worship in a Chaitya and a temple would be different?

Chaitya is the temple, prayer hall, sanctuary, shrine, etc. in the Indian religious. It is just the different term that is used by the Buddhist people to worship.

In different words, chaitya is stupa only with a large building having halls in which the worship was done by the Hinduism and Jainism.
