In order to compare two unlike fractions, let us find the LCM of their denominators.

LCM of 5 and 10 is 10. ( 5 is not the multiple of 10 but 10 is the multiple of 5)

$\frac{3}{5} =\frac{6}{10}$

$\frac{9}{10}$ remains as it is.

$\frac{6}{10} <\frac{9}{10}$

∴ $\frac{3}{5} <\frac{9}{10}$
