The Bay of Bengal has lesser salinity than
The Arabian sea because most of the important rivers like Ganga, Brahmaputra,
Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna, Kaveri, flow
Into Bay of Bengal to add huge volumes
Fresh water . These rivers also deposit the
Soil into Bay of Bengal to make it shallow
Near the coast, which keeps the water warmer
So,the coastal fisheries in Bay of Bengal is more developed than Arabian sea !
The only advantage Arabian sea has , as it
Being deeper than Bay of Bengal, it has more
Natural sea ports.
