praire-most of the people stelled here are descendants of europeans.the people are engaged in all types of activities,primary,secondary and tertiary activities.however , agriculture is the main occupation.the soil is rich,extensive agr agriculture is practisedusing modern and scientific methods of cultivation the Prairie has huge with forms some of them larger than 2000 hectares .the production of food grain is so high that the praire is called granary of the world.
veldts-the main occupation of people here are agriculture cattle rearing and mining.some farmers not only cultivate crops they also rear cattle this is called mixed farming . the soil here is not very fertile .hence the region is more suitable for cattle rearing than agriculture.
