magnetic field of a solenoid is similar to magnetic field of bar magnet.
as in both cases the magnetic field lines starts from one end and comes to other end of solenoid and bar magnet.
hope this will help you

Magnetic field pattern:
The electric field lines inside a solenoid are formed in form of parallel lines, these parallel lines often tend to project uniform magnetic field, when the current flows in the solenoid it forms magnetic field in form of coil on the solenoid.
Whereas, in bar magnet, the magnetic field lines are extruding outwards and form ellipse shape making electromagnetic lines from north pole to south pole. Therefore, the magnetic field lines in solenoids are in coil shape and ellipse in the form of bar magnetic.
