a.India gained Independence in 1947 and declared it be a sovereign Republic Independent country.

    Vietnam gained independence in 1945, much before India, but it took another  three decades of fighting before it could be formed as Republic of Vietnam
 

b.The national movement was the result of colonialism, which brought a sense of belongingness to the people and brought people of different sections of the society to fight against the colonial yoke.

     Vietnam is one of the important states in Indo – China which was developed purely of colonial context.
    The formation of the Vietnamese states brought different communities together which were altogether shaped into a struggle against colonial domination.
 

c.Prominent leadders of Indian national movement were Gandhi,Jawaharlal Nehru , Tilak etc.

Some of the leaders werePhan Boi Chau, Ho chi minhetc.
