Monocots have one cotyledon .


STOMATA in Monocots is on both sides of leaf , that is they have stomata on upper and lower surface of leaf .

Dicot have two cotyledons .


Most of dicots have stomata on one side of leaf that is either on upper or lower side of leaf . But mainly they have stomata on upper side of leaf .
