I began to understand that ‘my way’ is not ‘everybody’s way’ and especially not the ‘better’ way. When there are different ways of communication, miscommunication and conflict is not uncommon. Therefore it is crucial in intercultural communication to have knowledge about different ways of communication so that it will be easier to understand and interpret what other people mean when they communicate.
